We are a unique tour and travel agency, based in Mumbai, India, and are most well known for our guided tours of Dharavi- India′s biggest “slum”.

Established in January 2006, we show the side of Mumbai that you won't find in your guide books. We genuinely want each of our customers to have a great experience with us, and we take pride in the positive feedback in the media, on our facebook page, on our discussion page and to us in person.

We put money back into the Dharavi area through our sister NGO's community centre and kindergarten.

– We cater to all budgets. Reality Tours understands that some of our guests will be budget, backpack travellers, and that others prefer more facilities. Our pricing is extremely competitive: no matter who you are, we have a tour for you.

4. Clear tips policy
– Tipping etiquette is often unclear: should I give a tip? How much should I give? To who, and when?
– Reality Tours has a clear policy on tips. There is no obligation to tip, but those that want can discreetly put an amount (we suggest that 10% of tour cost is a generous amount) in an envelope at the end of the tour.

5. Social Impact
– Money from the tours goes to support the activities of our sister organization- Reality Gives- an NGO working in Dharavi in the area of education. Reality Gives currently runs a progressive kindergarten and a community centre for young adults: you’ll get to visit both on the tour.
